I love being frugal, but then you already knew that.

One thing that I have done this week is to hang out all of my laundry. What a difference it makes in the electric bill. I have been doing this for the last month and our bill went down $40. 🙂

This week…not so good in the frugal world. I try really hard. That’s what introduced me to blogging. I googled “how to be frugal” one day & was introduced to lots of cool sites!! I just need to put them into practice now!

I took advantage of a super sale at my local Albertsons. They had a 10/$20 sale on cereal. With the store savings card, the sale dropped to 10/$10. I had 7 coupons that dropped the total to $5.30! That means each item was just 53 cents each! Not bad eh?

I did great shopping at CVS this week! Bought $38 worth of items and after coupons my total was $5.38.. I used a GC I received for filling a script so my actual OOP was zero!

My 10 year old son has been catching some beautiful walleye in the river below our house using poles given to him by a sweet man in our church. I priced walleye at $6.99/lb in the grocery, but ours our free with the bonus of fun & relaxation. Please enter me in your give away. The book looks great!

We went camping this last weekend. To save $$ from eating out all the time because it is fun, we planned a menu of fun things that we don’t normally buy at home. It was a bit more expensive on the grocery bill, but much cheaper in the long run because we weren’t even tempted to go out.

OH, I found my way to your blog from Four His Glory.

I have been doing Once a two weeks cooking. lol. And it really did save me over 100.00 because of buying in bulk. I was actually quite astonished by it. I know there were a few other things I did this week but, hmmm. I am still not 100% awake.

I found your blog through Four His Glory.

I took one less car trip this week due to rising gas costs and instead combined errands on one day. Thank you for the giveaway! I would love to win this book!

I started to buy some new clothes and then I asked myself, If this was a need or a want. It was a want so I decided not to make the purchase.
